Characteristics Of Fabaceae Family:-

Plant Description:-
A deciduous tree with a girth of up to 1 m and grows to 35 m tall. It is fast growing.Tree form, umbrella-shaped with an open crown density.
Leaves are bipinnate, 30-60cm long, with 16-20 pinnae. Oval leaflets, each 0.8-2.5cm long .
Flowers are a bright yellow and grow in clusters on upright stalks.copper-red seedpods cover the tree in profusion.
Uses Of Plants:-
The elegant yellow flowers of Peltophorum pterocarpum makes it an ornamental tree.
Bark can also be used as dyes as it contains tannins.
Leaves has anti-microbial properties.
